Welcome to The Stylish Gent, The Big Man’s Guide To Style.  As a ‘Big Man’, I am often challenged with finding nice, stylish clothes in larger sizes. I’m either too wide, or too tall.  I’ve attempted shopping in “Big and Tall” specialty stores; however, most of the items are just not my style. I’m taller and wider than the typical guy; however, I don’t want to wear clothes that make me look 10 – 20 years older, nor do I want to look like Bishop Don Magic Juan. 

My personal style consists of mixing a tad bit of urban, with flares of prep, and a lot of classic and traditional male styles. I know you’re probably wondering how this goes together; trust me, it works. Still don't believe me?  All I can say is that you will definitely want to check back often for my posts and updates.  Sometimes, I want to be trendy, but I always want to be conservative; I’m a banker by day, so I can’t be too flashy.  

Stores that carry the fashion genres, mentioned above, in larger sizes are nearly non-existent; so I have to search.  Luckily, I’ve found how to find affordable, trendy and fashionable items, in my sizes. My blog post will share my secrets and my finds.
